Here are my policies around sickness (including COVID) and what to expect when you come to see me.
Mask & Sick Policy
Masks are optional. I sometimes wear a mask during session for two reasons:
For the comfort level of clients who are immunocompromised or tentative about entering into public spaces without their own mask
I have a preschooler at home and with him comes many germs, constantly. I do not want to pass something from him, to you! Should there be an illness circulating his classroom I will be masked.
If you’re feeling sick the day of your session:
Please test yourself for COVID-19. If you are negative, you’re welcome to come get treated with your KN95 mask on. Mild cold symptoms are welcome - please stay home if you have a fever or severe symptoms.
Sometimes getting treated while experiencing symptoms will heighten your symptoms. If you’re not feeling well enough to have a regularly active day, stay home. You will not be charged if you need to cancel your session due to illness.
Treatment Space
My sessions are indoors in a comfortable, climate-controled and well-ventilated environment. Please wear comfortable, flexible clothing that covers most of your skin (I do not use lotions in my practice and would hate for my grip on your skin to feel uncomfortable)
My table is sanitized with isopropyl alcohol before and after each session. All face cradle covers one-time use.
